 My objects

Object #1

My first and most personal object to me is a tie that my granddad had received for putting in place a new phone system down the mine, a he was an electrician working in the pits. This tie means a large amount to my family as not only does it hold the memory of my grandad but also the memory of where our past has come from and the background of the place we live in as dinnington is a place that has been built off of a mining community and has a high amount of respect and value towards the miners including the memorial garden on the Main Street of dinnington.

Object #2 #3 and #4

    

The next 3 objects I included in my project were these miners phones in three different styles. These were all phones used down in the mines and pits that my grandad had kept on his home after putting in place new phone systems for fellow works of the mines to use.

Object #5 and #6

Objects 5 and 6 are badges that were presented to my grandad during his time of been a worker of the mines and pits and for the work he competed as an electrician.
